The Past and Future of Publishing

There's a worthwhile article over at Forbes.com on where we've been and where we're heading in publishing today.

One of the more interesting statements is this:

There is enormous pressure in the market to solve the 'drowning in bad writing' issue with indie publishing. It's hard to imagine that a solution won't emerge in the next 12-18 months."

We're waiting.
